The StartersLes Starters
Starters are the first Pokémon given to every trainer at the beginning of their adventure. The choice is almost always between a Grass, a Fire and a Water type: Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle in Kanto, up to Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup in Sinnoh.
Pikachu is the exception: it is the sole starter of Pokémon Yellow, as a nod to the animated series.
Les starters sont les Pokémon de départ offerts à chaque dresseur au début de son aventure. Le choix se fait presque toujours entre un type Plante, un type Feu et un type Eau : Bulbizarre, Salamèche et Carapuce à Kanto, jusqu'à Tortipouss, Ouisticram et Tiplouf à Sinnoh.
Pikachu fait figure d'exception : il est le starter unique de Pokémon Jaune, en clin d'œil à la série animée.
