Pokémon are creatures with extraordinary abilities that share their world with humans. Trainers catch them with Poké Balls, train them and battle alongside them with respect for their partners.
From 151 species at the start, the Pokédex has grown with each generation: 251 with Johto, 386 with Hoenn, then 493 with Sinnoh, the era of Diamond and Pearl.
