Pokémon Bella Curtis
The Pokémon Bella Curtis was the flagship tournament of the Pokémon Life community in the late 2000s. Two editions were held, bringing Club trainers together for Diamond and Pearl battles over the Wi-Fi Connection.
Bella Curtis I
The first edition set the formula: group stage followed by a knockout bracket, with a full report published in the site news.
Bella Curtis II
Building on the success of the first edition, Bella Curtis II expanded the player count and refined its ruleset.
Dates and venue
Matches were played online through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, on dates announced on the Club forums.
Organizers
The tournament was organized and refereed by the site team and the moderators of the Pokémon Club.
Rules
Teams of six Pokémon, species clause and one-of-each item rule, restricted legendaries: the full ruleset was published before each edition.
