Pikachu
Pikachu is the worldwide mascot of the Pokémon franchise. This Electric-type Mouse Pokémon stores electricity in its cheeks and releases it in devastating Thunderbolt attacks. It evolves into Raichu with a Thunder Stone, and its pre-evolution Pichu arrived with the second generation.
Ash's Pikachu, stubbornly opposed to entering its Poké Ball, has been the face of the animated series since 1997.
