Dawn (Hikari in Japan, Aurore in French) is the Coordinator who travels with Ash and Brock through the Sinnoh region during the Diamond and Pearl seasons. Her starter is Piplup, the stubborn penguin.
Daughter of a renowned Coordinator, she aims for the title of Top Coordinator and improves contest after contest, with her trademark white beanie and endless optimism.
